Here's your chance to get a whiff of this "Deeply, deeply, deeply delicious... Epitome of Sandalwood."4 )

    70’s Mysore (15 gr)

Red heartwood from the 1970's, this is the very highest quality Mysore granules available anywhere.

    5 ) Santal Royal Encens (15 gr)

A treat that's only available as part of this kit: Finely ground 40 year-old Mysore powder. Whereas you can push up the heat slightly with your granules, Royal Encens is a pristine low temp Mysore experience where every speck exudes a vintage buttery, creamy santalum aroma that is unmatched.

    70's Mysore

I compared the Mysore bracelet’s aroma to my Baieido, Shoyeido, Daihatsu, and Yamadamatsu chips, and your bracelet is solemnly better. I figure your Mysore chips smell similar to the bracelet so I knew good stuff like this can be a once in a lifetime opportunity. – Curt, USA

The 70’s Mysore chips are very nice. In the unburnt state they exude a rich creamy sandalwood aroma. When placed on the electric heater (at medium to high temperature) my room is soon filled with a very nice sweet and creamy, almost ambery, sandalwood scent. On a glowing bamboo charcoal I perceive more woody and ethereal top notes. I cannot really decide which of these two ways of releasing the scent is more pleasing. This is a true ‘benchmark sandalwood’! – Thomas, Germany

Am working at the laptop enjoying the smell of heated 70’s Mysore sandalwood dust in the background. I must tell Ensar how grateful I am that he offered this Mysore wood on his site for sale. Surely folks will regret not obtaining some of these chips for their personal use. I actually winnow down in the package to the dust as I’m using an electric heater, and then put a scattering of the chips on top of a couple of pinches of the dust before heating. It is so soothing and makes one feel beautifully peaceful just to sit here. – MI, USA

Wonderful classic Mysore scent! If you have an adjustable electric heater start low and work you way up. The scent starts off with a slight spicy cologne for lack of a better word. Then moves into the creamy woods realm and lastly to a sort of caramelized sugar scent. Highly enjoyable and thoroughly recommended. – Chris, USA

Got the package today. The Mysore chips and oil are outstanding. I can’t write a review right now because when DHL knocked on my door I was burning a stick of Shoyeido’s Nan-Kun. Needless to say, I can’t be sure whether the ensuing “Best Mysore Experience Ever!” was due to that combination of two forms of deliciousness. I’ll let you know when I figure it out. – Larry, USA

The sandalwood chips are heavenly. I’m heating them as I write to you. – Marian, USA

The sandalwood chips are so rich! It’s a scent I want to wear! I’ve been tincturing some so I can wear it as a close skin scent. – Dan, USA

I jumped for the sandalwood first and I can already say this is the best sandalwood oil I have ever smelt and I do have quite a few oils. I am really glad this oil stood up to the hype and it is my official benchmark to compare all other sandalwood. I was even more pleasantly surprised to burn the wood and see how perfectly complementary it is to the oil. As soon as I started burning some, my wife was totally mesmerised by the scent and she usually doesn’t have much to say when I burn anything. I think it actually put her straight to sleep, haha. I will need to get more. MashAllah. – Taher, UAE

The 70’s Mysore chips also have that ‘Mysore Goodness’, but on top of it is a heavy dose of bright Santalol. I guess the overall surface of the Chips is very much more than the Beads, therefore releasing more Santalol. So do I like them? I love them! – Curt, USA

I’m really enjoying your Mysore sandalwood chips/dust. I’ve got it on my electric heater right now, and it’s been perfuming my table area most of today. A very sweetly soothing fragrance; it is such a pleasure. – MI, USA

Actually, one of the things that I’ll be ordering are the Mysore granules. I’ve been using them with Matteo and I’ve caught him laughing a couple of times, so I’ll take that as he likes them! By the way, have you noticed a similarity with the Santal Royale?  The granules and the oil are very similar. I thought the granules would be similar to Mysore 1984, but definitely lean more towards Santal Royale. – Steve, USA

    Santal Royale

When I sampled Santal Royale, I was floored. It was everything sandalwood shouldn’t have been – complex. There was a balance between sweetness, floral, and woody components. My heart is with sandalwood now. I think it may be the most appropriate scent that I can wear in most everyday settings in the west without having nostrils flaring from the magnificence and novelty that oud exudes. – Guleed, USA

The opening is pure musk! I couldn’t believe what I was smelling. As it dries it becomes velvety soft and a little sweet. The creamy, almost gourmand heart notes remind me of my mother’s pumpkin bread recipe. There’s zero camphor or pine like you get with other Mysore sandalwood distillations. The musk note continues to linger and is still present alongside the classic Mysore sandalwood drydown. It’s more lively and tingly than a longer-aged sandalwood. A light camphor note comes in on the finish, edging out the musk to form a full-bodied, classic sandalwood. I will definitely be buying this again.

I gave a couple swipes to my friend. He proclaimed it to be the best sandalwood he’d ever smelled, bar none. After rubbing it all over his forearms, he lay back on the couch, tossed his head back, and declared his day made. He didn’t get up again for over an hour. – Duncan, USA

Santal Royale is intensely spicy and woody. There are tobacco, vanilla, musk and soft frankincense notes fused with the classic Mysore sandalwood core. It is a top notch aromatic experience from first swipe until the dry down many hours later. Now I wish I would have went with the 6 gram bottle! Keep these unique Mysore distillations coming!

The Santal powder included with the bottle of Royale is fabulous. On the burner at low heat it is some of the most fragrant sandalwood I’ve come across! – Chris, USA

Speaking of Santal Royale… wow, amazing. If I would like to add another 3gr, could you give me the listed $650 for the total 6gr, meaning $300 for the additional 3gr? If I had known it was that good… – Brian, USA

    Funky, Raw and Animalic
    Spicy, Peppery Cinnamon
    Heavy Cream Butter Spice
    Hint of Lemon Zest Sweetness
    Sharp Vanilla Tobacco
    Pine Fresh Regal
    Ambergris Golden Dew
    Burnt, Rusty Caramel
Musty, Musky Red Sunset – Joel, Cambodia

I was lucky to have a sniff at it and it was quite unlike anything I had in my collection so far. Rather than calling it an oil, perhaps describing it as a ‘santal perfume’ might be a better choice of words. Its top notes were complex and multi-faceted, and despite its young age the base notes were deep and replete with santal richness. Yes, the underlying woody santal DNA was still there, but there was something more to it as the different notes interplayed and unfolded. – Melvin, Singapore

I was blown away by the power and longevity of the Santal Royale. – John, USA

– Mohammed, France

I love the Santal. If it did not come from you I would not believe it was all sandalwood. It’s powerfully mystical. – Doug, USA

I freaking love it! – Phil, USA

The Santal Royale smells like pure Musk to me and at the same time I know that it is sandalwood. – Naveed, UK

    Mysore 1984

Received the package! ‘Awesome’ is a very small word to start with. This Mysore 1984 is epic! Ensar’s find has been super… This oil is the Epitome of Sandalwood, if one wants to understand why Mysore! The color itself proves the highest degree of quality of wood used to produce it, that is from the lower trunk and roots. Transparent and colorless to palest tint of yellow. I applied just a dab and my room was filled with Mysore 1984’s woodsy sharpness in beginning, very potent & musky and NO dry down. Even after 12 hours I smell woody, musky, sweet, powderish absolute Mysore! Lingering all the way… – Zakir, India

The Mysore arrived. Deeply, deeply, deeply delicious; honeyed and singing of something far far away calling one to come closer. So beautiful. – Jackie, USA

I haven’t smelled sandalwood like that for literally decades. – MI, USA

Wow, this has exceeded my expectations, it’s so brilliantly white and sparkling. I am astounded at how an almost colourless liquid can pack such an olfactory punch. I can smell all the notes I wanted, the butter, the ghee, the cream, but what I did not expect was how clean the overall fragrance is! Great oil and very welcome addition to my growing collection. – Naveed, UK

The 1984 is similar to the incredible santalum oils I remember smelling as a kid. – Zayn, UK

I am so pleased with the Mysore 1984. Now I know for sure how to rate all other sandalwood oils. – Alexander, Italy

One word to sum it up: brilliance. The oil has a bright (but not sharp) tartness with a tint of spicy sweetness that is well balanced with a warm woody sensuous note in the background. Very delicately balanced scent profile with no overwhelming odd notes. – Melvin, Singapore

Although I’ve only tried it once I did have the pleasure of smelling your sandalwood this afternoon. It is the woodiest of the other 2 oils with which I compared it. It started off being the softest but very quickly the scent crescendoed  as it melded with my skin. It smells woody, clean, clear and dry, like freshly cut, mighty, uncompromising, saturated wood. To me it doesn’t have a lot of layers but it has a steady, earthy richness, and reminds me of the heated chips though without the creaminess of my powders. It smells wholesome and hearty and I very much enjoyed this first introduction. – Marian, USA

Among the many Mysore oils I have collected, I have several small vintage lots of excellent pharmacy Mysore sandalwood oils from Dodge & Olcott, MMR, and Fritzsche Bros. I even have a 1911 vintage from Eli Lilly Co. They are all excellent in their own way. Your Mysore 1984 has a certain shining, almost sparkling quality that I haven’t seen in any other sandalwood oil. It’s become the new favorite in my collection. – Dan, USA

What can I say? It is the most sublime sweet white smell… simultaneously calming and elevating. I feel waves of healing wash over me as I smell pure bright sweetness. I would not be surprised at all if this is the scent of angels. It is archetypical Purity to me. – Raaid, UK

I’ve been sampling sandalwood oils for many years and this is one of my favorites. It’s calming, sensuous and an absolute pleasure to wear. Just lovely. – Ian, Canada

I have other Vintage Mysore heavyweights from reputed vendors but EO Mysore ‘84 is by far & I mean by FAR the most superior of all. The only ‘ONE’. – Zakir, India
