    Maroke Muah

    Maroke Muah

What you’ve got here is wild-harvested Filaria, classically distilled in steel. Think lush naked earth, forest; think river banks along the Amazon, vibrant vines of Peru. The scent is so primordial you’ll wanna pull out a duff drum and start swaying.

Some ouds are sugar tamed for the modern nose that’s not used to natural aromatics. They’re soft, citrusy and sweet. This is not one of those... Because it was a high grade Maroke distillation, expect a dark incense drydown with super oudy top notes, and heart notes of pure vaporous Maroke oud smoke burning right under your nostrils.

This oud throws you back to the sixties, sends you trekking to a Jamaican village or a Cali commune—wherever you find patchouli and counter culture. It’s an aroma that screams NATURAL. Jungle black. Pure agar core, wild grown.

Maroke Muah is the black sheep in a den of pretty pink-smelling perfumes. You won’t see a picture of this on billboard ads at the airport duty free—but I can totally see George Clooney dig this! (I recommend you get the 3 gram sturdy glass bottle and carry it in your pocket.)

Like every oud oil we make, Maroke Muah is 100% pure, undiluted and unadulterated. It’s super limited, and likely to sell out sooner than you think. Are you ready to be transported to the Fillarian extreme?

Here's what other people are saying about Maroke Muah

It’s hard to describe how special Maroke Muah is to me.
It smells both familiar and totally alien. It fills me up with this Sehnsucht feeling.
It smells like swimming in a deep freshwater lake in the summer, and then sitting up on a wooden dock that has been warming in the sun all day,
and then laying back and smelling some of the nearby soil and vegetation as you dry out in the summer breeze.
A little bit of the smell of pine needles warming up on some rich soil.
A campfire is somewhere nearby – you can’t see it but you can smell
it in the distance. In a way it also smells like an old, pleasant library.
Thank you for taking the time and care to make this oud.
I’m going to have to make my bottle last a long time. – Matt, MA

I am enjoying all my recent purchases but I would like to say that the Maroke Muah is Exceptional. Partly because it is bold without being harsh, and partly because I am a huge appreciator of high grade Aquilaria Filaria. – Curt, CA
